These are the same cap! This seller has a different picture than the other seller. When I contacted the seller they confirmed that Mastex only makes one type of heating cap. I gave this one three stars because I feel that this should never have happened on Amazon. I will write another review on the product after a few weeks of using it. So save yourself 10.00 bucks. Rather than wearing a warm towel around my head for 2-hours, I read that wearing a heat cap would help speed up the setting process. I receive the cap in a timely fashion. It functioned properly. However, the cap was a tight fit for me and it did NOT come all the way down the sides or back of my head. I was terribly disappointed. I was expecting the cap to give me the same type of secure, adjustable fit of a bonnet hair dryer. I did not care for the chin strap at all. I would recommend instead that you purchase either a bonnet hair dryer or the "Belson" jet bonnet hair attachment (matte gold style). Wear one of those thin plastic hair caps (the kind beauty stores sell in a package of 10 bonnets for 99 cents) and set your hair dryer at a low setting. It worked much better for me. That's about how warm this product got....not effective for deep conditioning AT ALL. I recently purchased these curlers after seeing them in a magazine. I was impressed by the compact size, the weight of the curlers (not heavy), and the clips included to hold the curlers. The clips hold the curlers in place, and the curlers are effective in producing a nice curl. Due to the limited number of curlers in the set, this product may not work well with really long hair. I have shoulder length hair, and the 12 curlers included were just enough. These curlers would be perfect for camping and traveling! P.S. I have tried other compact curlers, and these by far are the best available. I own a large bulky Remington hot curler set (which I liked accept for the "clip-on" marks left in my hair). I purchased the Conair curler set specifically for travel purposes and I have to say, the Remington set went back into its box and up in the closet. I use the Conair set for everyday use now and I love them. The Remington set left my hair kind of "fly awayish" from static or something. The Conair set, while giving great volume and curl, eliminates the static, giving a much healthier look and shine to my hair. And the final advantage, there are no clip marks left from use. They don't get super hot but the curl was just as i get with my regular hot rollers. I have medium length fine hair and use 19 rollers each day. I did notice one set does not get as hot as the other and when I used in China I could hear a buzzing sound from one of the sets. Both have held up with daily usage for the last 6 weeks. The size is compact and as other users have commented the cord is outside the little bag. There are 10 rollers with each set and it includes wire clips. The clips hold well much better then the plastic clips. The only improvement I would suggest is color coding the ends of the clips so they are easier to seperate by size and include an extra clip for each size. I'm very happy with this purchase.
