I have baby fine, semi-easy to curl hair and this worked wonderfully. It gave my hair a ton of volume and depending on what products I put in it I got some pretty nice curls. I thought this brand was better than some of the other brands I tried because I felt that it heated up enough, but I didn't ever get burnt (as long as you don't touch the bottom of the curler where the heat originates). Also thought it gripped my hair well which made putting in the curlers easier, and I found the clips helped keep things simple too. If I have any complaints it would just be waiting ten minutes for it to heat up, but other than that I'm happy with the results.I think as long as you follow the instructions and try different techniques in application you should end up with bouncy, wavy to curly hair.
