You can use the low settings and get a nice look without any frizz. The many air jets are essential for those with thick hair and you can have a dry head in about 15 minutes. The blower sets up quickly, is adjustable and very sturdy. I can't say enough about the quality of this product! I'm a not an expert on dryers in any way, but after doing research I found that this was one of best hair dryers on the market. I'm very happy with my purchase. Too much heat is never a good thing on anyone's hair. Even at its highest setting the heat is not too hot; or at least hot enough to make anyone uncomfortable. It's also fairly quiet, which is plus. Highly recommended.
