With this wand, you get a little black glove and you wrap your hair like a figure eight around the wand. The reason for the glove is that the wand gets very, very hot, thus, it curls your hair very well quickly.This wand with the double prong, is better for long hair and it can make it look wonderful with bouncy light curls that last. People with shorter hair will have a hard time wrapping their hair, but you can also use one prong for shorter hair but you have a harder time wrestling it around the prongs. When you use this type of product, make sure you also have some hair protector on-hand or over time it can burn your hair. A protector will often add shine and protect your hair from the high heat.
